In April of last year, Pace Capital Management, the retail division of A.J. Pace & Company opened their doors at the Ocean Reef Business Center. Their clubby atmosphere along with their delightful coffee, tea and cake amenities (many baked by Claire Pace) add a touch of class to an already beautiful building.

Pace Capital Management is a private boutique wealth management firm with offices in New York and Winter Park. Their products and services range from managing 401K and 529 plans to their proprietary Hedge Fund to complete asset allocation programs. A.J. Pace & Company was founded by Ocean Reef member Anthony J. Pace in New York in 1989 and is indeed a family affair. Son Bradley Pace is the President of Pace Capital Management and maintains a presence both here at the Reef as well as Winter Park. Jonathan, Managing Director spends his time between Winter Park and Ocean Reef, while COO Adrian holds down the helm in New York. Additional staff includes Emily Rellinger (also Ocean Reef member) who joined the company in December 2002. Emily is a former Sr. investment analyst at Shearson, Lehman Brother Consulting Service Division and brings many years of expertise to the table.

Since opening their doors, Pace Capital has hosted and sponsored numerous events ranging from financial seminars to guest speakers including Peter Quick, President of the American Stock Exchange, and Tom Petrie, the Nations number one oil analyst who presented a very timely lecture on the oil crisis in Iraq. Seminars geared towards the sophisticated women investors as well as the very popular 529 college funds were also presented. Anthony Pace also lectured on Hedge Funds and had his dear friend Harry Mariani from the Castello Banfi Winery in Tuscany provide a delightful wine reception after the lecture.

Pace Capital will be open five days a week effective November 24th. They encourage one and all to come visit their lovely office and sit and watch the ticker on their plasma TV as well as to partake of their daily refreshments.
